Celia Kaiser is the artist for The League of Scientists.
She’s been artsy and crafty ever since she can remember.
While her current preference is art – graphite, oil paint, pastels and acrylics – she’s been involved in everything from clothing design to stained-glass window restoration.
Her influences range wide, with a special appreciation for The Old Rennaisance Masters (like Caravaggio and Michelangelo) and the German Expressionists (like Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt).
Like any artist, Celia likes experimenting with color, design and style. But she also enjoys taking her work outside of the usual boundaries.
She has been in a variety of shows where her work was proudly displayed. Her many awards and mentions include The Festival of the Arts Varineau Family Award, The Festival of the Arts $250 Award, and the Vern Ehlers Annual Congressional Competition’s People’s Choice Award.
